Milo® AND OATS SMOOTHIE

These MILO® muesli slices are the perfect snack as they’re packed with oats, nuts, dried fruit, and the goodness of MILO®'s malt energy. This gives you the fuel you need to power through your afternoon sport or study sessions.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 250g store-bought plain pancake mix
  • 1 egg (optional)
  • 4 heaped tbsp of MILO®
  • ½ medium-ripe banana, mashed coarsely (or to taste)
  • ½ cup quick-cooking oats
  • 2/3 cup (135g) unsalted, roasted pumpkin seeds
  • ¾ cup (150ml) golden syrup
  • ½ cup (150g) almond butter spread, no added salt, no added salt and no sugar
  • 150g butter

HOW TO MAKE IT:

Prepare your pancake mix according to the instructions written on the box. Add the egg if you’d like to. , rich_text

Mix in the MILO®, the mashed banana, and oats. Add the milk to slightly thin the batter., rich_text

Over a low heat, lightly butter the pan and pour in ½ cup of prepared pancake batter. Once bubbles form on top, flip over to the other side to cook both sides evenly., rich_text

Bake 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool in the pan; slice into 16 pieces., rich_text
